 President Clay delivering his speech

Common thread through the museum was
how President Lincoln was pretty depressed about
the whole situation he was in.

President Lincoln's suit that day

We woke up to this?

It's some serious snow this a.m.  Here's the view out
our front door.  School is cancelled and we sure
won't be going anywhere.....
Clay's skate ramp tell the story.  About 4 inches
and it's still snowing like crazy

Philadelphia Story

I took the kids on a day trip to Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall where the Constitution was signed, and the Constitution Center (which was amazing).  Independence Hall was really inspiring.

These photos are pretty bad because I didn't have my camera and had to buy one of the disposal ones.  Oh well.  I'm just learning some new stuff so the slideshow doesn't have captions yet either.....  sorry.

Anyway, we're having an amazing time here.

Pics of our NYC trip. SO FUN!

NYC Trip

One of our first adventures since moving east was a trip to New York City. We went on the 29th and 30th of December, the day before the big New Year's Eve bash. It was CRAZY CROWDED! We had a great time visiting all the sites. The weather was perfect, the sites were awesome, and waiting in line 3 hours to skate at the Rockefeller Center, although cold, was fun (Yes, it's true) We stayed right on Times Square. It was a very memorable trip!
She wears these well. I have a picture of me 17 years ago with the same glasses on!
