US History Museum

Took the kids to the Smithsonian US History Museum on Saturday.  They have an exhibit on Abraham Lincoln as well as another one on all the presidents.
They had a part of the exhibit where the kids stood behind the presidential pulpit and were on t.v. reading a speech from a teleprompter.  It was pretty cool.  As usual, they weren't the most enthusiastic participants, but I keep telling myself they'll thank me .....for what, only time will tell...

  1. You are right -- your kids will thank you. Chris was 7 when their family lived in Virginia for a year. He vividly remembers going to the Smithsonian and wishes now he would have been more enthusiastic about it. You are making some great memories with your children! Corenna
